About You
As a project coordinator, you will be a core member of the Public Health and Policy Pillar team. You will bring your excellent project management, research, communication, and interpersonal skills to work closely with our relevant stakeholders, including community groups, clinicians, consumers and industry, to ensure key project aims are met. You will model behaviours that align with the Macquarie University vision and values and foster these in your team, with research students and the broader community to create an inclusive and high-performance culture.
You are an empathetic and collaborative professional with experience working across a broad range of stakeholders. With strong oral communication skills, you can clearly articulate requirements and build effective relationships with partner organisations.
About Us
The Macquarie University Hearing Research Centre, located within the Australian Hearing Hub, is a global hub of hearing and hearing-related research, education, and engagement, and through the Macquarie University Hearing Strategy 2030 is seeking to transform hearing health. Adopting a university-wide approach and working with partners to create opportunities for all community members to contribute towards advancing the hearing agenda and to reduce the global burden of hearing loss.
The Public Health and Policy Pillar of the Macquarie University Hearing Research Centre has the broad primary goal of reducing the social, human and economic impact of hearing loss and vision loss. The research within this Pillar includes analyses of data from population health datasets, epidemiological studies, and intervention studies.
