Job Overview:
As a Project Coordinator at MCM 2001 Inc., you will play a crucial role in helping oversee and coordinating our projects. If you have a passion for coordinating construction projects with precision and efficiency, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Gaining understanding of the scope and requirements of a project by receiving information from Project Managers.
  • Creating two-and three-dimensional shop drawings of the finished project using AutoCAD.
  • Obtaining client sign-off and, if necessary, obtaining the client sign-off for any other changes (in writing), with the involvement of the responsible Project Manager.
  • Executing any changes requested by the client, as per Project Manager recommendation.
  • Preparing all necessary program CNC files for CNC Machines, based on the drawings; if necessary, taking physical measures and making sure that all the pieces fit together.
  • Checking stocks availability for each new project.
  • Releasing material order, if necessary, by filling in request order for Purchaser.
  • Releasing the shop drawings’ soft and hard copy to the Team Heads.
  • Giving necessary recommendation to Team Heads (materials, specifications, time frame).
  • Reviewing the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis, vs. drawings, client feedback, and physical aspect.
  • Preparing quotations based on Project Manager email requests and references.
  • Preparing production work order based on the quotation and sending it to Team Leads together with the shop drawings.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience as a project coordinator or similar role, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and production shop drawings.
  • Knowledgeable in using Auto-CAD/CAM software.
  • Rhino, sketch, and SolidWorks, experience is a huge asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
