Project coordinators (m/f/d)

Administrative digitization doesn't succeed on the drawing board, but in implementation, where many stakeholders, systems, and interests must converge. That's precisely where you come in: As a project coordinator at ITV.SH, you will drive forward ambitious digitization projects and ensure they reach the municipalities in Schleswig-Holstein.

The main focus areas of Department II are:

• Digitization projects with a specific focus on individual components (e.g. online services or basic components, such as the OZG cloud)
• Digitization projects that create infrastructural prerequisites at the state level (e.g. X-Road SH) and
• Digitization projects that adapt federal initiatives for local government (e.g. RegMo)

You will become part of a project team and support the project managers in their daily work. Your role is operational and technical coordination and management. Software development and the technical operation of solutions are handled by service providers.

Your tasks:

• Coordinate and advance projects: You will coordinate and manage demanding digitization projects operationally and independently, bringing together expertise, IT, service providers and municipalities.
• Gather and prioritize requirements: They clarify what municipalities really need, refine technical and professional requirements, and translate them into actionable specifications.
• Ensuring quality: Together with municipalities, they define acceptance criteria and ensure that a solution runs reliably before it is rolled out.
• Involving and advising municipalities: They support municipalities in the introduction and use of our services, gather their feedback, and are their first point of contact for any questions.
• Managing service providers: As a technical coordinator, you manage the participating service providers, keep track of deadlines and quality, and accept results.
• Securing and imparting knowledge: They document in a target-group-oriented manner and make results and processes comprehensible and repeatable for others.

We expect the following from you:

As an open-minded, digitalization-oriented individual who enjoys learning about new topics and is both communicative and confident, you think and act in a committed, goal-oriented manner and like to take responsibility for yourself.

Your qualifications:

Completed university studies (Bachelor's degree, FH diploma or higher) in a suitable field, for example administrative or business informatics, public management, administrative, economic or legal studies, or training in the above areas with proven, several years of relevant professional experience.

In addition, you must bring the following (mandatory criterion):

• Proven experience in independently coordinating or managing projects or digitization initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Basic technical understanding of software and hardware solutions and the willingness to familiarize oneself with the specific system landscape.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips within Schleswig-Holstein (driving license class B is an advantage)
• German at least at C1 level

Skills and knowledge that are important to us and desirable for your work:

• Experience in administrative digitization
• Strong communication and moderation skills: They mediate between different interests in a way that is appropriate for the audience and guide the participants to viable results.
• Knowledge of topics such as the Online Access Act, One for All (EfA), online services and the basic components and systems of administrative digitization, for example register modernization and NOOTS, OZG Cloud and German Administrative Cloud, X-Road SH and FIT-Connect, digital identities and user accounts including EUDI wallet, payment services, Germany Stack or federal IT architecture
• Methodological expertise in project management, both traditional and/or agile
• Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resilience: They address challenges openly and tackle them consistently.
• Experience in or with local government administration and an analytical-conceptual perspective
• You are a team player
• They are capable of handling criticism and conflict.
• They demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and develop their skills.
