POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Chief Project Officer, the Project Coordinator will liaison with the Project Manager in ensuring the planning, execution, tracking and successful delivery of all projects within North Sun Energy.
This role involves coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and ensuring effecting communication among project stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or 3 year diploma in business/commerce, Project Management or a related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of project administration experience
  • Attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency on project Management software and tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage time and tasks; organizational skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the project team.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • Organize and schedule project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes.
  • Address and resolve any project-related inquiries or issues from team members and stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as expense tracking, procurement of project supplies, and managing project-related budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the Project Manager in any other tasks as required to ensure successful project delivery.
