Given our growth, we are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Ottawa team. Unfortunately this position is not available internationally. Job summary: Reporting to the Area General Manager , the incumbent's main responsibility is to support the project managers in their tasks. Main responsibilities: Gathers and file project’s documentation such as H&S, shop drawings, close-out. Actively participate in various meetings with the different project’s stakeholders. Participates in the planning of large-scale pursuits, gathering of projects documents, data entry. Develops, implements and updates the internal integrated information management system. Develops, implements, and updates our quality control process for documents management as well as insuring that the technical documents are according to the project’s requirements and expectations. Prepare presentations, various reports as well as other documents required for projects. Prepare content for meetings, scheduling of meetings and taking minutes. Any other related task Qualifications, and skills required Having successfully completed a college diploma in Construction Engineering Technology or equivalent. Having participated in a minimum of 2 COOPs with a construction companie or equivalent. Strong communication skills, both in verbally and in writing . Having the ability to do quantity take off from project drawings. Estimating experience (an asset) Be proficient with MS Office suite, Excel, Word and MS-Project Basic knowledge of construction software such as Procore or Dreeven. .Basic knowledge of Revit and BIM. Analytic approach to problems and challenges Have a strong aptitude for communication and interpersonal relations. Be structured and organized; Be rigorous and pay attention to details. Must be a Team player. Basic knowledge of the French language is an asset You must have clearance to be able to work on government projects.
