Description NON-EXEMPT. Provide direct support to the Project Management Team. Provide technical administrative support for project close-outs, document updates, and tracking change orders. Maintain project files, project library and field site binders. Assist with production of project management plans and edit technical documentation as necessary. Duties · Direct interface with Operations Program Manager(s), Project Manager(s), Site Superintendent(s), Subcontractor(s), Client(s) and Operations staff personnel during all aspects of the project lifecycle. · Responsible for project procurements, payroll, accruals and invoicing, and processing change orders. · Support the PM with logging and processing daily reports, project correspondence, submittals, meeting minutes, and other records and reports. · Assist in the production of management plans, technical documents and presentation graphics. · Take ownership of the contractual and administrative function of the project. · Organize and maintain project library, files and field project binders. · Manage training database. · Conduct administrative and document support duties including project close-out processes. · Coordinate and assist Project and Contract Managers in the development of project schedules, resource plans, and budgets during the bid and proposal phase. · Coordinate and schedule meetings, record and distribute meeting notes, maintain database and compile reports for deliverables. · Communicate with project personnel to obtain plan updates and perform project plan maintenance. · Assist in the development, planning, analysis, evaluation and prioritization of project deliverables and requirements. · Ability to write using solid grammar, spelling and math skills. · Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly. · Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. · Understanding of project management methodology. · Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. · Ability to problem solve. · Ability to multi-task. · Effective interpersonal skills (ability to build relationships with project field personnel at all levels). · Attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects. · Issue resolution skills. · Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements · Five years’ experience with at least 2-3 years in project or program management. · Preferred qualifications include: o Working knowledge of ISMS/IWCP Experience. o Knowledge of the FAR and DEAR. · Basic knowledge of radiation, asbestos, radiological and industrial waste, waste transportation and disposal, and construction strongly desired. · Computer knowledge in a networked environment including intermediate to advance skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Access or other database operations and Internet experience. Knowledgeable in the use of MS Project and/or Primavera desired. Person shall posess the following · Superior organizational and time management skills. · Attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects. · Ability to develop and manage electronic mail. · Ability to interact well with multiple levels and areas within departments as well as being self-motivated. · Familiar with technical terminology and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities. · Ability to work long hours and/or overtime as needed. · Ability to travel. · Ability to perform duties in a field environment. Working Conditions Typical office-type working conditions. May be required to work in the field for short periods of time with exposure to heat, cold, dampness, fumes, dust, noise, or vibrations or exposure to odorous chemicals
