We are currently recruiting experienced Project Coordinator/ Project Engineer a solid background to work on civil and commercial projects. You will work on landmark projects and be expected to travel to various sites to perform your duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years experience
· A strong work ethic, commitment to safety and a can-do-attitude
· You must have vast experience in civil works projects
· You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to OH&S principles

· Ability to read and understand construction plans is a must
· Ability to work on detailed and intricate projects

· Prepare monthly progress claims, meeting milestones and contract requirements.
· Facilitate the induction of machinery and personnel at active sites, following safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
· Prepare all necessary paperwork before and during contract execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth project commencement.
· Cost estimation and quantity take-offs to support tender processing, optimizing budget allocation.
· Procure materials, ensure timely delivery, and maintain supplier relationships.
· Assist the project manager with ongoing contracts by ensuring adherence to contractual clarifications and conditions, thus mitigating potential risks.
· Developing detailed work programs for project sites, meticulously planning and coordinating tasks to achieve project milestones efficiently.
· Interpretate and analyse specifications, drawings, and procedures relevant to ongoing works, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical standards.
· Generate reports on costs and programming for ongoing projects, giving valuable insights to stakeholders and facilitating informed decision-making.
· Construction coordination and management
· Quality assurance of construction delivery
· Provide overall engineering leadership to the project or area of responsibility within the project.
· Provide technical oversight of the project to ensure technical objectives of the project are being met and be a driver for the resolution of technical problems.
