Reporting to the Director, Interiors & FFE, the Project Coordinator (FFE) will be an integral part of the project team, assisting the team in procurement, design coordination and move activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o College Diploma/University Degree and 4 - 8 years demonstrated experience within a healthcare redevelopment project office or equivalent work experience
o Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizations skills
o Able to effectively manage multiple project activities simultaneously, meeting deadlines and managing change is essential
o P3 project experience and/or understanding of delivery model considered an asset
o Experience organizing/facilitating user group meetings
o Experience with negotiating and consensus building
o Advanced skill level required for Bluebeam, MS Work, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and email applications
o Excellent knowledge of electronic forms and the Internet
o Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
o Must be able to work in a fast past environment, prioritize activities and be detail oriented
o Flexible, self-directed, ability to work independently and as a team player
o Excellent work performance and attendance record is essential
o CAPM or PMP designation is considered an asset
o Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset
o Experience in project management, preferable in a healthcare environment

o Support Director with gathering and developing required documentation for WELL Building Certification and LEED Certification submissions
o Support Director and Design & Construction PM in review of wayfinding drawings, message schedule and other wayfinding documentation
o Support Director and Design & Construction PM in wayfinding deficiency reviews
o Coordinate with NH Foundation on donor opportunities; track donors and highlight impact on design to design team
o Assist with the coordination of FF&E procurement activities, including but not limited to:
o Review and tracking of FFE shop drawing status and submittal tracking
o Coordinate FFE shop drawing sign-offs
o Develop schedule for user engagement in specification development, evaluations and vendor negotiation sessions
o Coordinate/liaise with Project Co, suppliers, and vendors as required
o Tracking of contract invoicing and payments
o Coordinate and develop Art Committee documents and liaise with NH departments during installation of art
o Liaise between Art Committee and NH Foundation regarding art donations
o Lead inventory of art at existing sites and art transfer plan
o Coordinate project art initiatives for South Niagara Project with Communications
o Support coordination of vendor site and deficiency reviews with Project Co
o Support move activities through various assigned duties
o Other duties as assigned
