The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting production of project safely, within budget, with the allotted scheduled timelines, and to excellent quality standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain communications and documentation with construction subtrades.
  • Timely placement of orders to maintain inventory of required site material.
  • Follow up on all tasks and ensure reminders are sent.
  • Create and maintain project logs.
  • Assist in coordinating municipal inspections.
  • Schedule subtrade meetings and Safety Toolbox Talks..
  • Prepare and distribute all meeting minutes, Job Hazard Assessment Reports, Safety Tool Box Talks, site progress photos, siltation control reports.
  • Receive, examine and process documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for distribution to other departments.
  • Track, sort and distribute all paperwork to and from Head Office and answer phones, reply to emails, order and receive material/supplies, data entry, photocopying and filing.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Site Supervisor as required.
  • Prepare and code purchase orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized site office environment.
  • Administer weekly payroll of field staff.
  • Assist Trade Partners with respect to extras, drawings, completions, and building supplies.
  • Schedule building inspections, Third party inspections and schedule deliveries for materials.
