JOB SUMMARY

Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a specialist shopfitting / interior fit-out company that is growing and continuing to go from strength to strength, completing full fit-outs predominantly for high-end / luxury retail brands throughout the UK.
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering interior fit-out projects in Retail, High Street Retail, Leisure, and Commercial sectors of varying size and complexity. You would be responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager and Project Director.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in the Shopfitting and Interior fit-out industry (Essential)
  • Sound knowledge and use of Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication skills to include verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular, consistent and professional relationships at all times with the project team and clients.
  • Supporting project manager with purchasing of materials and arranging / booking of deliveries as required.
  • Dealing directly with site foreman to ensure that all materials & plant are onsite as and when required and in coordination with programme.
  • Applying for relevant permits and security passes for projects and site operatives.
  • Perform other relevant duties from time to time in order to contribute to the achievement of the business aims and objectives.
  • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
