SGC is looking for a Project Coordinator. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail, the ability to build trust based relationships with customers and staff and a results-oriented attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparation of estimates
  • Assists in the efficient scheduling of various work crews as required.
  • Meets utilities on site, as required, to assist in accurate and timely locates.
  • Prepare timely written notification of changes when identified
  • Monitor project control requirements: Progress Payment Application Summary, Change Order Log, Work Order Review, Billing Approvals, Close Out Documents
  • Create Purchase Requisitions for consumable materials and services
  • Support Project Manager/Lead Hand/Field Crew to ensure project has all materials, locates, permits and subcontractors required to ensure job efficiency
  • Review and processing of daily job specific paperwork
  • Ensure current engineering drawings, as-builts and QA/QC checklists are provided, completed and properly filed electronically
  • Provides deliveries of rush materials / tooling to crews as required.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College or University Graduate –Electrical Engineering / Construction Technologist / Technician.
  • Experience in the electrical/construction industry
  • Sound computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, CAD
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with others as a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
