QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Data Communication discipline or minimum 3 years of experience in cabling contractors’ work will be considered
• Safety supervisory cert is an advantage

SKILLS

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with large and diverse teams.
• Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in data networking in configuring routers, servers and switches preferred.
• Must be prepared to perform duties at night during non-passenger service hours (2300h to 0700h) from time to time.
• Must possess good oral and communications skills as well as be able to work independently.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide support for projects on renewal of various system in SMRT stations and depots.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspection and supervision of contractor works such as laying of fibre optic cable, installation of cable tray, installation and testing of telecommunication equipment.
• Act as an onsite coordinator or person in-charge to provide access for the contractor to work at our stations / tracks and to be responsible for their safe access.
• Ensure rules and regulations are carried out in compliance with internal procedures.
