Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator within AusNet’s Transmission Delivery team, your role is pivotal in supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure and customer projects across Victoria. You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with AusNet’s project management standards.
Your focus will be to assist in the planning, execution, scheduling, and monitoring of project progress against key metrics such as cost, quality, risk, and schedule and ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. You will also support procurement coordination, maintain accurate project documentation, and foster effective communication among stakeholders to streamline administrative processes and enhance team collaboration.
With a Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Malvern and requires occasionally travel accompanied by an experienced project engineer/project manager to some of our under-construction project sites in Victoria

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Procurement Support: Follow up on procurement activities to ensure order of materials and resources are on time and work with logistics to make sure materials are on site as required.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage routine administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and organising files in the shared folders for easy access.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve common goals, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and provide support as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Draft emails, reports, and other written materials, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues. Relaying information to the necessary stakeholders as needed.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and risks and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in training and development opportunities within the existing projects to enhance your skills and knowledge.
