PROJECT COORDINATOR (STARSHIELD) RESPONSIBILITIES Own overarching coordination related to logistics, administrative functions for ongoing and in-development Starshield programs and customer-facing activities Provide project management and maintain momentum on high-priority projects, including but not limited to staffing and resource planning, onboarding new department members, space planning, and strategy development for efficiencies among teams Perform confidential and complex administrative duties to include preparing presentation materials, composing correspondence, and creating/updating spreadsheets Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, make appointments, arrange travel, screen and delegate incoming calls, and provide other general assistance as required Exhibit a strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to daily schedules and routines, and a focus on efficiency without sacrificing quality BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of administrative experience PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work Experience working with the US Military and Intelligence Communities Experience supporting leaders in a fast paced, start-up environment Strong computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously Active Top Secret or Top Secret / SCI clearance or ability to obtain one ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered Must be willing to travel to other company sites, vendors, and customers as necessary, up to 25% travel Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment. Should you be unable to obtain it, SpaceX reserves the right to modify or terminate your employment to align with operational needs COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Project Coordinator: $27.00 - 35.00/per hour Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
