Are you organized, efficient, and good at handling multiple tasks? If you’re eager to learn and want to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, this role could be a great fit for you! You will help support IT projects and service requests related to Irving Shipbuilding.
This position requires full-time on-site presence.

ALL SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS FOR CANADIAN CONTROLLED GOODS PROGRAM (CGP), CANADIAN GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE, AND U.S. INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC IN ARMS REGULATIONS (ITAR).

• Help track the progress of IT projects and keep important documents organized
• Manage inventory of IT equipment
• Assist with ordering IT products and services (known as the “Procure to Pay” process)
• Create financial reports to show how IT resources are being used
• Prepare presentation materials for team meetings
• Make sure all projects follow company guidelines and are properly documented
• Current enrollment in an accredited university co-op program, business or computer science preferred
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
• Desire to problem solve and work with others to map out processes to pinpoint improvements
• Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
• Curiosity, drive for excellence and deep interest in technology
