The Opportunity
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering capital and infrastructure projects within the District of Sechelt. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining compliance with municipal policies and regulatory requirements.
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Capital Projects, the Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring project timelines, deliverables and budgets while liaising with internal and external contacts to ensure project alignment. Additional duties include supporting procurement processes, assisting in community and interest-holder engagement, tracking and reporting project data, project field inspections, contract administration and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and archaeological protocols.

Working Conditions
This is a regular, full-time unionized role within the BCGEU. Hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The wage for this role is Grid 9, $35.95 - $39.94 per hour, plus an attractive extended benefits and pension package, and three weeks’ vacation to start.
