Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

  • The Project Coordinator plays a key role in the performance of the company. The vision for The Sign Brothers is to become one of the most respected architectural sign companies in the southeast. The Project Coordinator can help this goal to be achieved by helping projects run smoothly and meet deadlines. This role simultaneously provides outstanding customer service for our key clients as well as providing support in key project tasks for Account Managers.
  • The primary purpose of the Project Coordinator role is to provide exceptional customer service for our key clients by helping them with their smaller signage projects. The types of projects that this role will handle are primarily smaller in nature and are the type that we would otherwise turn away if they weren’t for a key client. However, we want to provide a high level of care and concern for our ideal customers, which is why this role exists.
  • The secondary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to provide estimation, administrative, office, and some light project management support to the efforts of Account and Project Manager(s) in the areas of documenting / permitting, records management, communication, scheduling, take-offs, materials & supply management, sign programming, site survey assistance, and customer service.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by creating and managing projects for our ideal clients. Typically these projects will be smaller in nature, and are intended to be a service that we provide for our key clients.
  • Estimation of projects that are being personally managed as well as estimation support for the rest of the Account Managers. This could include generation of ROM pricing for projects, contacting outsourced vendors and suppliers, as well as general estimation of signage projects.
  • Assist with the needs of account and project managers so that we can provide the best service possible for our clients.
  • Create Takeoffs and Program signage using SignAgent software.
  • Acquire and maintain a basic working knowledge of how signs are built and installed, as well as materials that go into making them.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Complete forms based on what is necessary: Prequalification forms, Insurance forms such as ICWs, Lien Waivers, ROM Pricing, Schedules of Values
  • Make sure the accurate permits have been ordered, received, updated, tracked and closed as needed.
  • Make it better. Always look for ways to improve current / existing processes and systems. (Consult with Sales Manager)
  • Create standardized systems to train others in the role with oversight from the Sales Manager.
  • Answering the phone and assisting clients that come to the office.
