Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Coordinator role based in Lethbridge, AB. The Project Coordinator supports project managers and site supervisors with day-to-day coordination, including organizing project documentation, maintaining schedules, and tracking progress against timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include preparing and updating reports, assisting with procurement and subcontractor coordination, and ensuring that materials, equipment, and information are available to crews when needed. The role involves frequent communication with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support smooth project execution. The Project Coordinator also helps ensure compliance with company safety procedures and project standards, and contributes to continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects, manage schedules, and maintain organized documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with field crews, project managers, suppliers, and clients.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management tools) and comfort learning new systems. Being able to complete Traffic Plans is of key value.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues, track action items, and support timely resolutions.
  • Knowledge of heavy civil construction is an asset, including familiarity with plans and specifications.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards, with the ability to follow and support company policies and procedures.
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology, business, or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work on-site in Lethbridge, AB, with reliability in attendance and flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
