JOB SUMMARY/BASIC FUNCTION
The Project Coordinator will have a thorough working knowledge of the services and functions available within True Blue TV Event Productions, as well as the Division of Marketing and Communications; works with potential clients to understand project needs and deadlines; helps potential clients connect with appropriate offices in the Division for the promotion, advertisement, and marketing of the project; notify the necessary departments on the particulars of the project; follows up on the various aspects of the project and ensure all needs are met on time; handles all scheduling, billing, hiring, payroll tracking, payroll approving, receipt coding and office functions for True Blue TV Event Productions; and other duties as required. Serves as liaison with Event Coordination team in the Division of Business and Finance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or high school equivalency required.
REQUIRED RELATED EXPERIENCE
Three years of progressively responsible experience in an office setting, communications, event production, or project management, or one year of responsible industry experience with a bachelor’s degree.
DESIRABLE RELATED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, project management, or related field preferred. Four to five years of progressively responsible experience in private/public/government/university office management, marketing, project management, event production, and communications.
