The role is responsible for developing project schedules and resource plans while also managing the feedback and revision process to ensure quality standards are met and projects stay within scope, timeline, and budget. The coordinator oversees documentation strategies, procurement, and project progress while facilitating regular status reporting to stakeholders.  What’s more? [https://www.vgmgroup.com/stories-of-opportunity] Reports To: Director of Project Management Working Hours: Full-Time, 40+ hours per week. 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday, with additional hours as needed to meet business needs and job requirements Working Location: On-site in Waterloo, IA or hybrid (on-site at least for days per week) What you'll do: * Work directly with clients and the Forbin production, marketing, or technical teams to guide the project life cycle and ensure successful project completion across service and product offerings * Maximize the value of projects by collaborating closely with the cross-functional teams and ensuring projects stay within budget  * * Explain the reasons for a project and/or task to appropriate team members  * Handle outside request/updates etc. from internal and/or external stakeholders  * Develop and describe sprint goals  * Own and maintain a refined project backlog to ensure the team is prepared for upcoming sprint(s)  * Prioritize the topics of refinement to ensure the most important conversations happen with necessary teams * Own product vision and roadmap planning while continuously refining and prioritizing the backlog to support effective sprint planning and delivery  * Monitor project progress and set project timelines and goals  * Ensure high-quality project delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations established a project kickoff  * Evaluate and report on project performance and adjust processes accordingly   * Collaborate with sales team to help identify solutions that address client needs  * Provide indirect leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle  * Facilitate and actively participate in daily/weekly production team meetings   Key Qualifications:  Education and experience: * Associates or Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a project coordination role with the responsibility of working with technical teams to drive project progress and delivery  * 2 years of experience coordinating and facilitating projects, specifically within a corporate office environment for technical projects  * Familiarity with and passion for technology and ability to work effectively with technical teams  * Experience with an agile development process/environment Experience with Atlassian Products, specifically JIRA Software, or are willing to learn  * Experience utilizing Kasaya Products, or are willing to learn * Experience using web-based content management systems, or are willing to learn * Experience with cross-functional team collaboration, including technical teams  * Skills and competencies:  * Highly organized and communicative with a strong attention to detail  * Time management skills and an inherent motivation for getting projects completed above expectations  * Willingness and ability to learn and re-learn a changing technical product and ability to share what you know with others * Understanding of web based software development techniques  * Understanding of marketing campaigns and services   * Positive attitude and the ability to build and strengthen working relationships   * Ability to find the fun in your day and easily find ways to celebrate the wins  Physical Requirements:   * Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, misc. office equipment  * Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision, peripheral vision and color vision * Ability to consistently communicate with other VGM Group personnel in person and via Microsoft Office 365 Learn more about VGM Group, Inc.:  Headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, VGM is a 100% employee-owned company providing business and professional services to thousands of business customers across North America.
