Description

MAKE AN IMPACT. MANAGE WHAT MATTERS. GROW WITH US.

Washington Pavilion Management, Inc. (WPMI) is not your typical arts and science organization. We manage multiple city-owned venues, lead public art initiatives, consult on large-scale installations, launch new events and retail ventures, and build partnerships that shape the cultural and economic landscape of Sioux Falls and beyond.
We’re growing—and we’re looking for a Project Coordinator who is ready to grow with us.
If you’re organized, motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role offers an incredible opportunity to work on meaningful projects that serve your community. From sculpture installations and art acquisitions to strategic initiatives and public-private partnerships, you’ll collaborate across departments and play a vital role in our continued momentum.
This is hourly administrative position—it’s your opportunity to be in the room where it happens.

POSITION SUMMARY

As Project Coordinator, you’ll be the operational right-hand to the Director of Strategic Initiatives. You’ll help lead and support high-impact initiatives, ensure project deliverables stay on track, and provide coordination across departments, vendors, and city stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience in project coordination, communications, arts management, or related field.
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communicator—confident engaging with teams across all levels.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong writing, reporting, and presentation preparation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
