The University of Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a new doctoral training programme in Infection Biosciences, funded by a BBSRC Doctoral Landscape Award (DLA). Led by Surrey, the Wessex One Health (WOH) DLA is made up of seven partners across the South of England and will train talented PhD students in innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to major health threats, including emerging infections and antimicrobial resistance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Project Coordinator, you will play a central role in managing and delivering the operational activities of this multi-institutional doctoral programme. Operationally reporting to the WOH programme director, and organisationally situated within the Faculty Administration team, you will be working closely with colleagues across our partner organisations, and will support the student experience by overseeing the organisation of training and events, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring the smooth running of key programme activities throughout the year. You will also be responsible for programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, communications, and administration. .
This is a highly collaborative role, and you will act as a vital point of contact for WOH students, supervisors, academic and industrial partners, and internal teams. This position is based on our Guildford campus, with hybrid working arrangements available. We expect a minimum of 60% of your time to be on-site to support close collaboration and successful project delivery. We welcome applications for candidates seeking a part time role; the role is up to four days per week.
