ABOUT US

The Faculty of Health Sciences ((FHS) is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of six Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Communication Sciences and Disorders), a large Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and four Research Centres. The Faculty has more than 3,200 undergraduate students and more than 800 graduate students (200 PhD students).
The School of Physical Therapy develops and promotes excellence, leadership, and innovation in physical therapy research, education and clinical practice, with an immediate focus on harnessing and growing our strengths in musculoskeletal health.

Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator/Manager will be responsible for supporting and overseeing all aspects of one or more projects within a research group, department, or Faculty. The incumbent will coordinate and provide ongoing leadership of the project, and manage all project phases by setting deadlines and monitoring and summarizing progress and results. Duties may include ethics perparation and annual renewals, consenting and screening, administrative tasks, recruitment, scheduling/delivering the intervention, data collection including using sensitive research equipment for quanititative data gathering, data analysis using specialty/custom computer programs, maintaining the database, coordination between the team members and various stakeholders, and writing papers.Typically, this type of position requires someone with a background working with people with stroke or other patient groups that require rehabilitation assessments and treatments. The incumbent will engage various stakeholders, ensure project support and sponsorship, and provide direction to the project team.
Qualifications

Education:
