POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator with a background in carpentry to join our team. This role is key in ensuring smooth project execution by coordinating materials, trades, schedules, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry knowledge paired with strong organizational and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma/degree in Construction Management, Carpentry, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, with carpentry background strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction software (experience with Procore or similar is an asset).
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day coordination of projects.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Order and track materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure project needs are met.
  • Monitor project progress and support quality control and safety standards.
  • Provide carpentry expertise when required to support decision-making and problem-solving on site.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
