Key Responsibilities: The position provides support to the implementation of Child protection related activities in the World Vision Programme in Malaita. It also requires building and coaching other staff on good child protection programming practices so they can deliver the programme in the communities according to plan and with the greatest impact. The YSED Project Coordinator is also responsible for building networks and capacity of other partners and stakeholders in order to ensure sustainability of programme impact. In this programme the focus of the support on child protection is to: Strengthening child protection referral systems at community level in collaboration with government agencies. The position will be based in Malaita Area Program and would be expected to spend around 75% of the time in the target communities.
