As a Geotechnical Project Delivery Leader at RK&K you will have the opportunity to work across disciplines to prepare plans and reports related to a variety of geotechnical projects for variety of clients in the transportation and municipal sectors; you will supervise field investigations and develop and review design computations; and prepare of geotechnical recommendations, contract plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates Essential Functions * Develop the geotechnical portion of proposals and subsurface exploration programs, * Manage subsurface exploration programs * Manage, including review of and aiding in the preparation of bridge, roadway and retaining wall inventory reports and foundation recommendations, * Lead Geotechnical services for Design Builds * Review geotechnical analysis using approved software, * Develop Post-bid retaining wall plans, * Provide foundations recommendations for other structures, * Lead innovative design concepts related to Geotechnical Engineering Required Skills and Experience * 15+ years of Geotechnical Design Experience, NCDOT experience * Bachelors in Civil Engineering or related field * Professional Engineer License * Passion for client service and engineering * Experience in management of Geotechnical Task Assignments * Significant understanding of the following: gINT, LPile, APile, MSEW, FB-Pier, and GRLWEAP * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Working knowledge of Microstation Preferred Skills and Experience * Masters in Civil Engineering or related advanced degree Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
