  • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing multiple projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
  • A proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget across multiple business areas.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Flogas is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to manage our PMO in Flogas Energy, overseeing the approval, assignment, and execution of multiple projects across the business, including compliance, sales, marketing, operations, and IT. This role will be pivotal in ensuring strategic alignment, resource optimisation, and efficient project delivery.
The successful candidate will manage a team of project managers, assigning them to relevant projects based on expertise and business needs. They will act as a key adviser in evaluating project feasibility, setting priorities, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. The role will bring expertise in developing best practice in change management, project governance and project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and assess project proposals from different departments, ensuring they align with company goals and resource availability. Assign the most suitable project manager from the team to oversee each initiative.
  • Maintain a high-level view of all ongoing projects, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring key deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior leadership and department heads regarding project priorities, challenges, and progress updates.
  • Continuously assess and enhance project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all projects comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Manage project resources effectively, balancing workloads and ensuring optimal utilisation of project management expertise.
  • Track project KPIs, identify areas of concern, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project completion.
  • Work closely with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and IT to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business objectives.
