As a Project Delivery Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting VMO2 by delivering a wide range of operational and people-focused projects. What will you be doing?

  • Managing project risks, issues, and contingency plans to support successful delivery.
  • Reviewing and improving systems and processes to ensure alignment with project goals and operational efficiency.
  • Handling complex queries and data-related issues directly linked to project activities.
  • Supporting the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across the project roadmap.
  • Promoting a collaborative team culture through shared problem-solving, prioritisation, and cross-functional support.
  • Encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-skilling to maintain continuity and resilience in project delivery.
  • Assisting with project administration, including communication, auditing, maintenance, and MI analysis of the People Portal.

We tend to look for people with:

Essential

  • Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
  • Proven experience leading projects, ideally within an HR Shared Services environment, with exposure to HR processes, systems, and technology.
  • Background in one or more of the following areas: HR, Benefits and Reward, Payroll, Change Management, Business Readiness, or Continuous Improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an HR function or supporting HR initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and/or Oracle Fusion.
  • Awareness of current trends and best practices in HR and Shared Services.
  • Knowledge of process design methodologies is an advantage.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more
  • Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance
