As a Project Designer, Architecture, you will be responsible for delivery of projects from a defined conceptual design through production and construction phases. You will execute and oversee the production of the design and construction documents and coordinate across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure drawings and specifications properly represent design intent, meet governmental regulations, and align with zoning and building codes and building industry standards.
Project Designers at WD typically have the opportunity to begin developing their managerial skills by assisting with the delegation of tasks, early quality assurance monitoring, and mentoring of less experienced associates.
Location: We are open to hiring for remote work from any location in the US.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and/or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience
• Must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Prior experience in design and creation of construction document sets is required
• Experience working on restaurant, grocery, retail, healthcare or similar projects is helpful
• Interest in mentoring junior associates and developing managerial & project management skills is preferred
