Your Opportunity Stantec is looking for a highly motivated ICT consultant to join their growing, multi-disciplinary team.  Responsibilities will include designing various ICT systems based on TIA/EIA/BICSI standards & industry best practices, providing in-depth technical support for qualified Stantec opportunities and technical services delivery for Stantec clients. Key indicators of success include high levels of client satisfaction with on-site service delivery, technical support, and contractor engagement, preparing proposals, providing mentorship to an existing group of technologists and engineers and working closely with clients, contractors and suppliers.   Responsibilities: * Designs ICT systems for the built environment, including pathway drawings, low voltage device and telecommunications outlet plan drawings, systems single line drawings and technical specifications. Technology systems include but are not limited to: Electronic Security Systems, Structured Cable Systems, Paging Systems, Wireless Systems and Data Network Systems * Handles design development and document preparation in written and computer-aided design formats. * Prepare ICT tender drawings and specifications for commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, public and private facilities, * Deliver and perform ICT Project Management activities such as pre-engagement & post-engagement site visits, customer discovery meetings, on-site assessments, onsite reports, deliverables review, and other field activities as required. * Serve as technical resource lead to subordinate Field Engineers and others in assigned work group.  Provide technical advice, guidance, training and input to the review and evaluation of performance. Assist with resource planning, work prioritization and documentation of regional processes and guidelines. * Liaise and coordinate with external and internal clients to obtain and develop engineering projects * Prepare proposals and cost estimates * Conduct design reviews for the team in order to ensure that work is completed in accordance with Stantec Consulting Ltd. and client standards   Stantec’s Buildings team is on a mission to become the world’s leading integrated design practice. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
