Position: Project Developer
Location: Berlin, Germany
Employment type: Full-time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental or similar.

    • 5 years of experience in similar positions in the Renewables sector (wind or solar).

    • Native German and fluent in English.
    • Knowledge of the renewable sector, regulations, policies, etc.
    • Ability to analyze economic models and technical details.
    • Effective communication, problem solving, critical thinking and leadership.
    • Able to work autonomously
    • A driven, highly motivated, and proactive individual
    • Takes ownership of their responsibilities and strives to get the job done
    Responsibilities
    • Manage the PLA obtaining in the established timing.
    • Manage feasibility analysis of new potential projects including preliminary transmission studies and permitting.
    • Foresee and solve problems or needs of the Project Development process.
    • Carry out, control, and follow up of a Project Development budget.
    • Guide the Technical Department when obtaining the permits regarding interconnection.
    • Develop greenfield business opportunities in coordination with the Business Development Department.
    • Maintain a permanent contact with the local authorities.
    • Inform the company management of any changes in the regulations that may affect the business of the country.
    • Follow up the Project Development contracts and inform the Administration or Legal. Departments if there are expiring of guarantees, breach of agreements, need to make changes or innovations in a contract, etc.
