WHAT YOU WILL DO

Johnson Controls are seeking a Project Development Engineer experienced in industrial refrigeration design to support the delivery and execution for our portfolio of Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) projects.
As part of a small but growing team covering projects across the UK, you will have an opportunity to design, and support the installation of complex industrial refrigeration/process cooling projects nationally.
Our building efficiency division delivers products, services and solutions that increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs in buildings for more than one million customers worldwide. We are a leading provider of equipment, controls and services for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and security systems. The UK&I Installation team delivers innovative solutions to a wide customer base across all industry segments for HVAC, chillers, industrial refrigeration, controls and mechanical & electrical works.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

As an IREF Project Development Engineer you will act as the primary technical lead for all design related technical engineered solutions, supporting the technical development of process cooling solutions from initial concept through to through to final completion.
You will take ownership for the efficient, compliant design of industrial refrigeration process cooling systems. To be successful for the role, you’ll need to have working knowledge of the following regulatory documentation and requirements:
