Job Description We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and oversee complex, high-profile projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion. Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple large-scale projects, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives Develop and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and standards across the organization Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and project success Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project scope, deliverables, and expectations Identify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans to ensure project continuity Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes Drive decision-making processes, resolving complex issues and conflicts that arise during project execution Analyze project performance metrics and implement strategies for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders Qualifications Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, large-scale projects in a corporate environment Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Minimum of 20 years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse, multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience in budget management and resource allocation Proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk management and mitigation Experience working in a global or multicultural environment is highly desirable Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira) Adaptability and resilience in managing complex, dynamic project environments Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
