This role serves as the regional lead for clinical project execution, ensuring high-quality delivery while maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders. The Project Director oversees project planning, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring timelines, quality, and objectives are consistently met. This position involves guiding and mentoring Clinical Project Managers, monitoring third-party agreements, and contributing to business development activities such as proposals and client presentations. Accountabilities The Project Director will be responsible for: Acting as the primary regional representative for clinical projects, ensuring delivery meets sponsor expectations, regulatory guidelines, and budgetary requirements. Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring transparent communication of project progress, risks, and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Overseeing project planning, implementation, and execution in collaboration with Clinical Project Managers and functional specialists. Reviewing and approving project scope, budgets, recruitment, training, and metrics to ensure all elements are realistic, compliant, and deliverable. Monitoring project critical paths and providing guidance to ensure internal and third-party providers maintain high-quality service throughout the project lifecycle. Leading communication strategies to ensure stakeholders are informed of roles, responsibilities, progress, and methodology adjustments. Managing unit resources, including staffing, performance evaluation, hiring, terminations, training, and development, ensuring projects are adequately resourced. Candidates should have: A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in clinical project management or related roles, with ongoing professional development. A three-year College Advanced Diploma or Degree in Health Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate teams and maintain high performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building collaborative relationships. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and a results-driven mindset. Capacity for continuous learning and self-development, fostering teamwork and adaptability in dynamic environments.
