University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a full-time Project Director to assist UPP Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. This position is a Monday-Friday, daylight position. After successful completion of training, this position will have a hybrid option. Purpose: The Project Director supports the Corporate Compliance & Ethics Office (CCEO)in activities associated with their day-to-day responsibilities, operational improvement initiatives and special projects. Responsibilities: Research and summarize industry and environmental trends as well as other regulatory requirements/issues as requested. Assist in the assessment of CCEO operations and make recommendations regarding opportunities for improvement. Develop operational improvement strategies and related action plans. Actively participate in the coordination and implementation of such improvement strategies and plans. Perform fact-finding and analyses related to operational initiatives and special projects as assigned. Primary oversight for the Regulatory Review and Implementation process for all lines of business, including the perseveration of documentation, tracking and continued growth. Support the CC&E leadership team with the Conflict-of-Interest reviews, follow up and documentation. Primary oversight for the CCEO Risk Assessment (Risks & Issues) processes, including identification of risk, and implementation of workgroups and processes to address these. CCEO Training Initiatives and support to continually automate, improved content and act as a trainer for CCEO content. CCEO Communication Plan continue development, and documentation. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field is required. Master's in business administration or healthcare administration preferred. Minimum 5-7 years progressively increasing analytical and/or operational experience in a corporate/professional environment, preferably in healthcare. Managerial experience preferred but not required Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently Strong oral and written communications skills. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the UPMC. Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
