THIS OPPORTUNITY

WSP is looking for talented individuals to join our team as a Project Director to support the company’s growing Sustainability, Energy and Climate Change division. This position could work out of WSP’s office in Boulder, CO. Other WSP office locations can be arranged for an exceptional candidate. The individual will be involved in projects with our Climate, Resilience and Sustainability Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
The individual will lead client-facing teams in the design, management, and reporting of product and organizational sustainability programs in the electronics and technology business sectors, focusing on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and capacity to work on a wide variety of projects and the demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Candidates should be passionate about LCA, sustainability, and climate resilience, self-motivated and self-directed, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, energy, sustainability, or environmental discipline
  • Experience using LCA software and methodologies (e.g., LCA for Experts, formerly GaBi, SimaPro, openLCA, GREET)
  • Experience with ISO standards relevant to LCA, such as 14040, 14044, 14025, 14046, 14064, and 14067
  • Experience with other sector areas such as food and beverage, agriculture, apparel/textiles, construction products
  • Experience with EPDs and PEF methodology
  • Familiarity with emerging circularity standards and the application of such standards to LCA
  • Familiarity with water foot printing, water stress and scarcity methodologies such as AWARE

    Compensation:
    Expected Salary (Colorado only): $98,300 - $149,500
    WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
