As a Project Director, you will hold the responsibility for the management and commercial expansion of wind turbine projects. Your duties will include overseeing the department’s budget, ensuring that the construction business fulfills its contractual obligations while delivering exemplary construction and project management services to our clients, all to maximize profitability. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a forward-thinking vision, you will cultivate and promote a robust safety culture at Vestas, leading initiatives in the following key areas.

Responsibilities:

• Broad Project Management
• Site liaison and direction
• Client relationship development and management
• Subcontractor management
• Project risk management
• Overall accountability for safety compliance at project level

Qualification:

• Demonstrated Wind & Solar experience is desired
• A relevant Engineering degree qualification
• Certification in a relevant field: PRINCE2, PMP, Six Sigma,PMI or similar
• Good computer literacy

Competencies:

• Significant experience in Project managing EPC projects within a major infrastructure environment
• Experience in managing of wind farm construction projects a significant plus
• Proven performance in working in teams and achieving results
• Solid communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)
• Experience in Contract & Claim management, risk management, negotiations, stakeholder management
• Demonstrated ability to set and coordinate budgets and resources
• Strong negotiation skills and technique with both clients and sub contractors
• Excellent communication and ability to build & nurture relationships with stakeholders
