Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in engineering roles related to transportation or infrastructure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 3 years of combined government and consulting experience
  • Proficient in Civil 3D with experience on BC MoTI corridor projects
  • Familiar with B.C. Supplement to TAC, MUTCDC, BC Active Transportation Design Guide
  • Experience with proposal writing, design review, and construction documentation
  • Strong technical writing and coordination skills
  • Experience with QGIS, ArcGIS, Synchro Studio, MS Office
  • Actively working toward P.Eng. licensure with EGBC
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and compliance

Responsibilities
  • Support transportation and infrastructure projects for BC MoTI and municipal clients
  • Prepare horizontal and vertical geometric designs using Civil 3D
  • Ensure compliance with BC MoTI standards and the B.C. Supplement to TAC
  • Contribute to technical reports, memos, and engineering documentation
  • Assist with scope development, cost estimation, and schedule tracking
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Support ITS and transportation planning initiatives
  • Apply Organizational Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
