EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field is preferred. Combinations of education and work experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years in engineering, project management, or operational roles, showcasing proficiency in the relevant field.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, practices, and protocols; experience in healthcare, nutritional products, laboratory diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within diverse teams, articulating thoughts respectfully and clearly in various formats.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate data and situations, with a focus on recognizing patterns and formulating informed recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Drive project initiatives by formulating conventional strategies, conducting essential investigations, and effectively utilizing necessary equipment.
  • Resource Management: Assess and manage the resources needed (materials, finances, time, and personnel) to meet project objectives, including planning for contingencies.
  • Economic Evaluations: Engage in economic assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project options and guide strategic decisions.
  • Environmental Assessment: Benchmark and analyze both internal and external contexts, recognizing trends that could signal future challenges or opportunities.
  • Independent Design Development: Apply standard engineering principles to independently design products, processes, equipment, and facilities.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Carry out tests and experiments, collect data, conduct preliminary analyses, and disseminate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Design Adjustment: Create and refine designs for intermediate challenges, crafting detailed specifications for complex components and processes.
  • Root Cause Exploration: Utilize a customer-oriented perspective to identify needs and propose effective solutions to underlying issues.
  • Process Optimization: Introduce enhancements to methods, designs, and processes while sharing best practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders through both formal and informal means, tailoring your communication style to fit the audience’s needs.
  • Collaborative Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with colleagues, contractors, and vendors by understanding their requirements and aligning on mutual objectives.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Mentor team members by imparting technical knowledge and offering constructive feedback to support growth within the team and across departments.
