We design and deliver projects in the Infrastructure, Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include pipelines, roads, bridges, dams, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering the Stapylton Sewerage Network Upgrade project. The project can be summarised as a 15 km pipeline project at the heart of northern Gold Coast. In this role, you will support the management team and help coordinate the delivery, ensuring technical excellence and project success.
Working closely with the Civil and Pipelines Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer, you will be providing support for the complex planning, construction, commissioning, and multi-disciplinary civil works. This is your opportunity to showcase your expertise in civil infrastructure and contribute to a project that makes a real difference to the community.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a track record of coordinating and supporting complex civil, structural and pipeline infrastructure projects.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary degree in either Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in delivering civil, structural or pipeline projects.
  • Experience in site coordination and management .
  • Experience in quality assurance and management.
  • Skills in construction programming and scheduling to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractors, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
  • A proactive approach to safety, compliance and fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Ability to work full time on the project site over its 15 km alignment.
  • RPEQ and/or CPEng is desired but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing solutions.
  • Coordinating with teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement of project materials and services.
  • Providing technical support to the work front and supervisors.
  • Providing coordination support with the Supervisor for day to day construction activities.
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Preparing and completing project Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Monitoring subcontractors Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Upholding safety standards and promoting a strong safety culture on-site.
