Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
Full time permanent opportunity! Reporting to the Manager - Projects, the Project Engineer will be an integral part of the Energy Solutions team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred.
• Professional engineering license (P.Eng) or ability to register (PMP certification is an asset).
• Relevant experience in project engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge of gas processing and fabrication.
• Knowledge of industry codes such as ASME Section VIII and B31.3.
• Familiarity in sizing/selection of pressure piping and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data sheets and drawings.

• Prepare and release, Shop (work) orders, Material Requisitions for Purchasing, Complete Package Bills of Material.
• Act as a liaison between company and customers.
• Sizing and selection of instrumentation.
• Reviewing and applying customer specifications.
• Adhere to the project schedule and report any changes to the scheduler.
• Review and approve drawings to meet package, customer, and Code requirements, including, PFD’s, P&ID’s, 3D models, and GA’s, Process piping systems, Pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Perform Over Pressure Protection by System Design (OPPSD) analysis.
• Perform P&ID walk down of final package to ensure compliance with design.
