Reimagine What’s Possible Specifying and selecting manual valves and piping material to APCI standards Selecting and specifying mechanical equipment to APCI standards Review of project drawings and specifications such as layout plan, P&ID, valve specifications, piping specifications, cleaning requirement, SLD and etc. Development of construction packages Participating in Design Hazards Reviews Lead and integrate internal and external resources to resolve project design and technical issues in all project phases. Development of project cost details and schedule Understand and comply with the requirements of APCI standards, specifications, local building codes in project execution. Readily applies basic engineering principles to solve project design problems. Manage, execute, monitor and deliver projects on time, safely, within budget and fulfill project scope and specifications. Report to management on project status and costs and issues. Archive of project documentation to Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS)/Open Text (OT) and handover project deliveries. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's in engineering. Min. 3 years of project and design engineering experience in the petro-chemical or similar industrial experience. Similar type production facility with at least 2 years of in plant experience. Experience with Mechanical and piping engineering would be the preferred background. The incumbent should be a generalist in multiple engineering disciplines as his/her role would be broad.
