We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of multidisciplinary projects. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to provide technical, commercial, and project coordination support throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will coordinate with clients, engineering, procurement, production, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation to completion. • Coordinate day-to-day project activities with Engineering, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and other internal departments. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on project-related matters. • Coordinate customer contracts and effectively manage daily client communications, technical queries, and project requirements. • Ensure effective coordination between the Engineering and Document Control departments for timely issuance and revision of project documentation. • Support resource planning and allocation to ensure project milestones and schedules are achieved. • Monitor project progress and supervise the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including man-hours, earned hours, productivity, and project status. • Coordinate with Maintenance, Procurement, QA/QC, Engineering, and HSE teams to ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, equipment, and resources. • Ensure accurate and timely submission of As-Built documentation to the Engineering Department. • Monitor project compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, QHSE Management Systems, and applicable industry standards. • Organize Project Lessons Learned meetings and maintain project lessons learned records. • Facilitate project risk review meetings, identify project risks, update the Project Risk Register, and ensure mitigation actions are effectively implemented. • Support project cost control, commercial monitoring, and schedule performance throughout project execution. • Assist Project Managers in resolving technical, commercial, and operational issues to ensure successful project delivery. • Monitor project KPIs and contribute towards achieving departmental and organizational performance objectives. • Promote customer satisfaction by coordinating customer feedback upon project completion and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. • Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management on project progress, risks, and performance. • Carry out additional duties assigned by Project Management to support the successful completion of projects. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related discipline). Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of relevant project engineering experience within Oil & Gas, EPC, fabrication, construction, offshore, or marine projects. Technical Qualification: B.E., B.Tech., M.E., or M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline. Skills: Strong project coordination, technical problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, planning, and organizational skills. Software: Proficient in MS Office. Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and document management systems is an advantage. Knowledge: Good understanding of project management principles, fabrication and construction processes, contract administration, QHSE requirements, project planning, risk management, and client coordination.
