Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to join a leading commercial electrical construction team. The ideal candidate will support the full project lifecycle — from design coordination through execution and maintenance — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with safety and quality as top priorities. Key Responsibilities: Support all phases of project delivery, including consulting, design, construction, and maintenance. Collaborate with estimating, design, field operations, and vendor teams to develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Utilize VDC/BIM tools and construction management software to coordinate across teams and track progress. Review drawings, ensure compliance with design intent, evaluate change orders, control costs, and report project status. Enforce safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety programs to promote a “home safe” culture. Provide technical guidance to field teams, manage materials and logistics, and help resolve onsite challenges. Support post-completion maintenance efforts to ensure long-term client satisfaction. Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 3–5 years (or more) of experience in electrical construction project engineering, ideally in commercial or industrial environments. Experience using BIM/VDC coordination tools and proficiency with scheduling, cost-tracking, and document-control software. Strong understanding of electrical systems, building codes, contract management, and construction administration. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain schedule discipline, and deliver high-quality results under pressure. Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration. Why Join the Team: Join a well-established organization with a long history of excellence in electrical construction. Work in a supportive environment that values people, safety, and professional growth. Contribute to high-visibility projects across diverse industries such as healthcare, technology, and commercial development. Enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and long-term career advancement opportunities. G210
