Job Description We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen that will oversee the delivery of a maritime project, ensuring effective coordination across engineering teams and smooth progression through key project stages. The role involves working closely with technical stakeholders to support mechanical and systems‑related activities. Location: Aberdeen On Site: 5x a week Clearance: SC Experience Level: Mid - Senior Key Responsibilities: Lead day‑to‑day project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking. Support the capture, clarification, and management of mechanical and systems requirements. Coordinate reviews and checks of mechanical system elements to ensure alignment with project needs. Facilitate communication between engineering teams and maintain clear visibility of risks, issues, and dependencies. Prepare project updates, documentation, and reports for internal stakeholders. Qualifications Required Skills: Experience working on technical or engineering‑focused projects. Understanding of mechanical and systems requirements processes. Ability to support requirements capture, clarification, and traceability. Familiarity with reviewing or checking mechanical system elements. Strong organisational and coordination abilities within multidisciplinary teams. Good communication skills for engaging with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in a structured project environment with defined milestones and deliverables. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience. Desirable Skills: Experience working on maritime, sonar, or other complex engineering projects. Understanding of systems engineering practices, including interface management and verification activities. Familiarity with mechanical system design, integration, or environmental considerations.
