REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of engineering experience in the aluminum, façade, or construction industry, with a strong focus on project execution.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong understanding of façade systems, aluminum curtain walls, and glazing technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the design and engineering processes for aluminum and façade projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, including site assessments and material selection, to support project planning and execution.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and submittals related to aluminum and façade systems.
  • Project Execution:
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate engineering-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and project coordinators, providing guidance on technical issues and project management best practices.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment and address concerns promptly.
  • Lead project meetings to discuss progress, technical challenges, and solutions.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all engineering work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Implement quality control processes and inspections to guarantee the integrity of materials and workmanship.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor installation processes and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting project progress and challenges.
  • Collaborate with project managers in preparing project status reports for senior management.
