Description
Objective This position is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects with clearly defined deliverables. The role involves assisting in project management, vendor coordination, government approvals, and construction oversight, while ensuring effective communication and a seamless handover to the Operations Team upon completion. Key Responsibilities Assist the Projects team in the planning, coordination, and execution of new store openings, refurbishments, and closures. Track project schedules, material deliveries, vendor progress, and site readiness. Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Visual Merchandising, and IT teams for timely execution. Maintain project documentation including drawings, permits, contracts, and handover reports. Update trackers and prepare periodic reports on project status, delays, and completion metrics. Support the Project Managers in following up with landlords, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Conduct basic site visits, take measurements, or follow up on snagging/punch lists when required. Assist in managing invoices, payments, and budgetary tracking for assigned projects. Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and brand standards during project execution. Desired Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or related field. 4–6 years of experience in retail project coordination, site administration, or support roles in construction/fit-out industry. Familiarity with project management tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
