Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

They are seeking a Project Engineer with proven experience overseeing day-to-day activities on three waters projects, including pump stations, treatment plants, and water mains.
The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of construction methods, solid planning and scheduling skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to ensuring all work meets health and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with the Project Manager to develop and manage the program and project budget
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations on the construction site, whilst leading a team of engineers
  • Construction monitoring, site inspections, and working with the client and other stakeholders
  • Read and understand the contract specification and prepare work method statements
  • Help the Project Manager prepare design briefs and manage designers
  • Ensuring that the project adheres to HSE regulations
