Description
  • Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver capital and operational projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
  • Develop project scopes, specifications, budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Lead commissioning activities and support the successful transition of projects into operations.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, food safety, and relevant engineering standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain strong contractor safety management practices.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure to achieve cost and performance targets.
  • Provide regular project reporting and stakeholder updates.
  • Oversee contractor and supplier performance, including on-site installation and construction activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.

About You


To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Project Engineering within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Proven experience delivering capital projects (CAPEX).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and costs.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • High attention to detail across technical documentation, drawings, and project records.
