About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our program based at Edinburgh, reporting to the Product Baseline Lead.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight.
Apply your Engineering knowledge as you support the development and maintenance of strategy, lead audits and present findings to senior stakeholders.
Working across all aspects of the Engineering Lifecycle and stakeholder management, showcase your skills as a facilitator and influencer in a rapidly developing team.

Key responsibilities include, supporting the Product Baseline Lead in:

  • Development and maintenance of the processes behind the development of a Product Breakdown Structure and Product Baseline in accordance with the defined strategy
  • Management of ongoing change to the Operational Product Baseline throughout incremental delivery
  • Execution of the re-establishment of the Product Baseline in support of incremental delivery of capability
  • Ensuring that every Product Breakdown Structure, Product Baseline and Master Record Index produced is complete, correct and reviewed by Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel
  • Leading the Physical Configuration Audit of the Operational Demonstrator capability increments

About YOU

  • Bachelors in Engineering, any discipline
  • Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle
  • Systems Engineering process knowledge
  • Capability to present information to people and to communicate effectively and confidently with stakeholders
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
